Portfolio Homecare's aim is to provide care at home to the highest standard, ensuring that clients can stay in their own homes for as long as possible.
Through our carers we aim to protect, promote and maintain the privacy, dignity and independence of our clients through assistance in day-to-day tasks, companionship and care.
The wishes of our clients are always paramount, and we respect and support their right to personal choice at all times. Portfolio Homecare operates an equal opportunities and diversity of culture policy, so that all our staff and clients can feel confident and secure that they will be treated with fairness and respect.
Every member of our staff is committed to supporting you to enjoy a great quality of life and maintain your independence, whatever your day to day needs.
We all have concerns for the healthcare of our parents and loved ones as they grow into retirement and beyond, when they may need just a little help through to full time care or all the stages in between to enable them to lead as full and happy life as possible in their own homes.
Portfolio Homecare services are provided by our staff who are employed by us, not agency, and have been through our rigorous training programme to deliver the highest quality care.
How we work
Portfolio Homecare is registered with CQC delivering professional care for those who wish to remain in their own homes - offering choice, dignity and independence. Initially our homecare supervisor will visit, discuss and guide you through putting a bespoke package together to meet your needs, including a risk assessment of the home environment.
Our clients are from diverse backgrounds and cultures and wherever possible we try to meet individual needs by selecting carers who match these diversities.
Once all the essential information has been assessed we will select a carer with the appropriate experience, skills and understanding of your needs and will always strive to provide continuity of care 365 days a year.
Our homecare coordinator will continue to make regular visits to ensure that you are receiving a high quality of care and that your service is adapted as and when your needs change.
Our culture is to provide an open and transparent environment for our clients, their families, staff and other involved parties.
Paying for care
We are able to discuss the range of available funding options, including payments via local authorities and social services; direct payment plans via individual budgets and privately funded packages.
Many of our clients fund packages through a combination of these methods.
